“I have used photography to tell a story; a story drawn from the viewer’s imagination for 50+ years and to show the relationship of art and science as portrayed in the real world. I am self-taught and learned with some mentors in the days of film photography and darkroom manipulations. My photographic interests and skills developed during my academic career as a biologist in my research and teaching. I have moved from film to digital photography and the digital software darkroom in which I “develop” the image emulating archival photographic films, digital composites and digital paintings. I am a street photographer traveling to find favorite locations and writing my “novel” for others to read through their own imagination.” -- ROBERT BOLLA
